The information in this course will relate to wherever a stylist is at, in regards to their skills handling various hair types. It does not intend to expand basic skills on any particular hair type. For education on hair types outside a stylist's comfort zone, a targeted class on those specific skills is recommended. If you do not know what retraction or shrinkage are, or have not worked with tightly coiled hair, please seek education before attempting this treatment on a client with those hair types. Dealing with tightly coiled hair, shrinkage or retraction without conditioner is highly nuanced, and will not be information included in this course since the scope of that knowledge demands it's own training, understanding and respect.
